Yesterday, another attorney in the building found a set of legal documents just on the floor by the entrance of the building. It didn’t have my name on it or a messenger slip attached to it. The individual who found the documents just made a wild guess that it might belong to my office so he dropped it off here. It turned out that opposing counsel had sent it by legal messenger to me late last week. I had been waiting for it but I thought maybe OC was just slow in sending it.

I talked to OC about the poor delivery/service that her messenger made and found out that they work with *** Legal. She said that unfortunately, they have made the same poor delivery before and that she would have to have another talk with them.

I had been a customer of ABC Legal for many, many years, and switched to Seattle Legal about one year ago. I do not normally write letters to vendors or service providers, but am compelled to in this case.

I had an Order to Appear for Supplemental Proceedings, which I received today from the Court, and had to have the Order served on the Defendant/Judgment Debtor no later than Monday, June 25th. I called Seattle Legal at about 1:30pm to place the order and have the paperwork picked up. The person to be served was in Tacoma. Given that the order was going today – a Friday afternoon, I was extremely concerned about whether the Order would be served in time.

I received a call at 6:20pm from the process server, who told me that he had accomplished serving the Order on the subject a few minutes ago. I am very grateful for this kind of diligent, competent and immediate service, and am writing to thank you. The example that occurred today is not unique; I have had challenging service requests handled by your company very quickly, and without the kind of hand-holding that I was always required to provide to ABC Legal.

So I am writing to thank you for your outstanding service, and to let you know that I am a happy and loyal customer. Again, I do not customarily take the time to write letters like this, but I am extremely impressed by your company. Good Job!
